C-Reactive Protein (CRP) - This test measures the level of CRP in your blood to identify inflammation and monitor conditions like bacterial infections, rheumatic fever, arthritis, heart attacks, and cancer. It's also used to check inflammation levels after surgery. However, it's important to note that this test might not pick up small increases in CRP that could indicate a higher risk of heart disease.
